ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The core functions of this position include but are not limited to the following:
Project/Activity Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and project manager for multiple conferences and programs annually.
  • Collaborate with volunteer conference chairs and committees to coordinate event logistics and content development.
  • Manage the production and distribution of conference materials in coordination with volunteers and internal departments.
  • Support Membership, Marketing and Communications in creating promotional materials and implementing marketing strategies for each conference.
  • Oversee speaker management, attendee communications, and conference evaluation processes.
  • Provide timely feedback to volunteers and staff to improve program effectiveness.
  • Maintain professional relationships with members and participants, representing our organization with integrity and professionalism.
  • Participate in collaborative efforts with other program managers to enhance educational offerings globally.
  • Travels extensively throughout the U.S., as required (approximately 30%), to execute conference portfolio requiring significant time and some weekend travel.
Fiscal Management/Budget Responsibilities/Judicious Use of Resources

  • Exercises fiscal responsibility in the utilization of all CASE resources.
  • Develops, manages, and reconciles, the budget for each assigned conference (portfolio), generating revenues of approximately $1.3$1.7 million per year.
  • Demonstrates sound fiscal judgment in the utilization of all CASE resources.
Liaison Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates exceptional leadership/management, cooperatively and supportively, while working with all volunteers across all levels in the membership.
  • Represents CASE in a respectable and professional manner as required with the Commissions, district leadership and other respective senior volunteer segments.
  • Works cooperatively and diplomatically with all divisions and regions.
  • Liaises with CASE colleagues in other parts of the world to ensure the best sharing of ideas, expertise, and knowledge.
  • Incorporates tasks and/or projects related to objectives as directed by the CASE Strategic Plan.
Image Responsibilities

  • In keeping with the CASE Values Statement, ensures that CASE is well represented by exercising a high degree of professionalism, accuracy, and ethics, in all activities, services, and products.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor.


JOB COMPLEXITY AND KNOWLEDGE


The Manager, Education Programs receives broad direction from the Director and is otherwise expected to work with a high level of autonomy and independence, discretion, confidentiality, and diplomacy.

The position interacts with CASE staff from across the world, and may come into contact with senior volunteers, members, and other high level external key stakeholders.

The Manager, Education Programs will be responsible for his/her own time management and planning tasks to ensure the key responsibilities are met.

Strong judgement and problem-solving skills are required, as the incumbent is frequently faced with situations which require immediate action in response to issues and requests.

The breadth and depth of understanding of an issue and the key internal/external persons handling the issue, and the way in which the issue is handled, all affect the outcome of the situation.

Professional and Organizational Knowledge
