Interview will be based on these skills : Kafka Cluster Management(25%), Linux Shell Scripting (15%), Kafka Ecosystem Components (20%), Security Implementation (10), Troubleshooting Skill(10), Documentation & Communication(10), Analytical & Problem Solving skills(10)

Responsibilities:


  • Install, configure, and maintain Apache Kafka clusters.
  • Monitor Kafka cluster health and performance to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Perform upgrades and patching of Kafka clusters.
  • Manage Kafka users, topics, quotas, ACLs, and schemas.
  • Develop and maintain Linux shell scripts for automation of deployment, monitoring, and operations tasks.
  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize Kafka configurations and performance.
  • Implement security standards and policies to safeguard Kafka clusters.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any Kafkarelated issues in a timely manner.
  • Proactively assess and implement new Kafka features and technologies.
  • Document Kafka processes, procedures, configurations, and environment architecture.
  • Mentor team members and provide Kafka training when necessary.

Pay:
$120, $125,360.00 per year
