Work Schedule:

100% FTE, day shift. Monday - Friday with start times varying from 7:00AM to 6:30PM. You will rotate to different UW Health facilities in the Madison area. On-call and holidays required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

Pay:
A competitive starting pay based on relevant work experience. This position also includes an evening differential. You may be eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

We are seeking an
Ultrasonographer to:

Perform a wide variety of routine and complex ultrasound procedures, including pelvic, abdominal, small parts and routine vascular examinations and may perform more complex imaging.
Perform clinical examinations on adults, geriatric patients, adolescents, and pediatric age groups. Work at a variety of locations, including a Level 1 Trauma Center, critical care facility and several clinics in the Madison area.

Education:

Minimum - Graduate of accredited ultrasonography program and/or registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS).

Preferred - Bachelor's degree in relevant field.

Work Experience:

Minimum - Previous healthcare experience.

Preferred - Two (2) years clinical experience.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum

Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in a minimum of two concentrations. (RDMS) in Abdomen, Ob/Gyn, Breast or Pediatric Sonography or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).
RVT credential must be earned within 24 months of completing orientation, if not already acquired.
CPR certification required within three (3) months of hire.

Preferred

Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in a minimum of two concentrations listed above and RVT.
