Position Summary


As a Branch Member Services Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, expanding and maintaining the credit union's relationship with members by gaining an understanding of their financial needs, cross-selling products and services that address those needs and providing a high-quality service experience.


Position Duties and Responsibilities:

To succeed in this position, you must be able to satisfactorily perform common, uncommon and complex occurrences of each of the following under general supervision from your manager:

  • Actively engage members and establish a high-quality service environment by having a courteous and helpful attitude.
  • Educate and crosssell members on the credit union's product and service offerings that can help them meet and exceed their financial needs.
  • Collaborate with coworkers in your office and in other branches and departments to provide effective and efficient service to our members.
  • Accept and promptly process member transaction requests on deposit accounts, consumer and mortgage loans, debit and credit cards and Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA).
  • Administer branchlevel cash management procedures.
  • Travel, as needed, to other branch offices to provide coverage for coworker absences.
  • Open and close the branch office during branch management absences.

Position Qualifications and Skill Requirements:


  • High School Diploma/ GED
  • Two years of experience in the Branch Member Service Representative III role or three years of work experience in a customer service capacity required; three years of work experience in a bank or credit union branch customer service capacity
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Good written communication skills
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Salary Range:
$ $28.89

The offered salary considers experience, education, training, internal peer equity, job location and other business considerations when extending an offer.

The salary outlined is based on working in Auburn, CA.
