Senior Business System Analyst

Contract Duration 6 MonthsPay rate up to $63/hr

Job Description :

Under limited supervision, the Business Systems Analyst supports IT goals and objectives by working closely with Project Managers, IT Managers, and business stakeholders to ensure application development and implementation meets the business requirements.

Senior Business System Analyst works with internal and external off-site Project Managers, Technical Designers and Developers, and other key stakeholders to identify and document requirements and use cases in a manner that is accurate and meaningful to business and IT professionals.

This position also demonstrates leadership in the team environment.

Job Responsibilities :
Must have prior DQ Business Systems Analyst experience and a proven understanding of the use case documentation process.

Work with Project Managers and other key stakeholders (IT Managers, IT Designers and Developers, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)) to develop and document requirements and use cases in a manner that is clear, accurate, meaningful, and understood by all.

Facilitate IT and business use case walk-thru sessions.
Mentor less experienced Business Systems Analysts; review use case documentation and provide constructive feedback.
Senior Business System Analysts must maintain a thorough understanding of DQ's business practices and the applications/systems that support them.
Work with IT and business users to evaluate options and recommend solutions in line with IT and/or business architecture.
Develop reusable templates and maintain Business Systems Analyst methodology.
Prepare documentation using tools such as Visio, Word, and Excel.
Identify and implement process improvements.
