The Billing Analyst will handle a variety of financial and non-financial tasks and play a critical role in implementing and enforcing policies and procedures, as well as streamlining effective billing processes.


Core Responsibilities & Duties:


  • Assume the responsibility of receiving and sorting incoming payments with attention to credibility
  • Manage the status of accounts and balances and identify inconsistencies
  • Issue and post bills, receipts, and invoices
  • Check the validity of debit accounts
  • Update accounts receivable database with new accounts or missed payments
  • Ensure all clients remain informed on their outstanding debts and deadlines
  • Provide solutions to any relative problems of clients
  • Write thorough reports on billing activity with clear and reliable data
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned

Qualifications:


  • Strong organization, and prioritization skill set
  • Experience analyzing and summarizing data for decision making
  • Two
- or four-year degree in related field or equivalent experience

  • Miscellaneous administrative functions as they relate to A/R (research billing discrepancies, process renewal billing, customer service, etc.
  • Assisting with monthend closing of billing processes
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently or in a team environment
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, highvolume environment
  • Profit Tools software experience preferred
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must be 18 years of age or older to qualify

  • Strong organization, prioritization, project management and consulting skill set


  • General computer skills

  • Microsoft Office, Outlook, AS400
  • Excellent communication and problemsolving skills
