Key Responsibilities:

Medical Records Management:
Maintain accurate and organized patient records.
Scheduling:
Efficiently manage appointments and coordinate schedules.
Time Management:
Prioritize tasks effectively to ensure smooth office operations.
Receptionist Duties:
Provide excellent front desk service and greet patients with a warm demeanor.
Filing:
Maintain orderly filing systems for both physical and digital documents.
Medical Terminology:
Familiarity with medical terminology to assist in patient care.
Insurance Verification:
Verify patient insurance coverage and handle related inquiries.
Patient Care:
Assist in providing exceptional care and support to patients.
Medical Billing:
Process medical billing and manage accounts receivable.
Customer Service:
Deliver outstanding customer service to patients and visitors.
HIPAA Compliance:
Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality.
Accounts Payable:
Handle accounts payable tasks as needed.
Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Organizational Skills:
Maintain a well-organized and efficient office environment.
ICD-10 & CPT Coding: Proficiency in medical coding standards.
Typing & Computer Skills:
Accurate typing skills and proficiency in computer usage.
EMR Systems:
Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
Assistant Surgery:
Provide assistance in surgical procedures as required outside a sterile field
Phone Etiquette:
Professional phone manner and effective communication over the phone.
Data Entry:
Accurate and efficient data entry skills.
Medical Scheduling:
Manage medical schedules and appointments effectively.
Basic Math:
Ability to perform basic math calculations.
Hospitality:
Create a welcoming and comfortable environment for patients.
Office Management:
Assist in the overall management of the office.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of medical office experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10, and CPT coding.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Prior experience in accounts receivable and payable preferred.
