Westview-Fairforest Fire Department is seeking to hire dedicated, dependable individuals to join our growing team. We prefer some experience but will train the right individuals for our department to grow with us.

Qualifications for the position are:

• Must be 18 years of age
• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum Valid Driver's License
• Prefer IFSAC Firefighter II
• Prefer EVDT and Pump Ops
• Must obtain National Registry EMT-B
• If no experience must attend Rookie School (paidfull salary while attending).

We pay for full family coverage with SC State PEBA Group Standard Plan (best plan) for Medical, Dental Plus, and Vision, and we also pay for a $40K life insurance policy for employees, $20K life insurance for spouses, and $15K for dependent children.

Also included in our benefits package is a Short and Long Term Disability policy which is also paid 100% for all of our employees.

We participate in PORS Retirement. And pay for an additional accident plan for all employees.
