    Transition Associate - Extension Associate Yang-Tan Institute


    Position is located in Ithaca, NY, within the ILR School on the campus of Cornell University, or can be based remotely within New York State.


    The School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University has an immediate opening for a 50% part-time (20 hours per week) Extension Associate - Transition Associate in the K.

    Lisa Yang and Hock E. Tan Institute on Employment and Disability in the Extension/Outreach Division.


    Our Team:


    The Yang-Tan Institute (YTI) conducts research and provides continuing education and technical assistance on many aspects of disability in the workplace.

    Researchers and practitioners at YTI have helped companies, labor organizations, government agencies, schools, and communities throughout the United States and abroad to accommodate and integrate individuals with disabilities.

    Our team consults with business and industry, and with policy makers, educators, disability advocates, and rehabilitation practitioners.


    What you will do:


    The position's primary focus will be as a Transition Associate for the NYS Education Department's Transition Technical Assistance Partnership (T-TAP) professional development initiative.

    This position's role is to train and provide technical assistance to content specialists on the Office of Special Education Educational Partnership regional teams.


    Pay Range:
    $ $41.11


    Pay Ranges:
    The hiring rate of pay for the successful candidate will be determined considering the following criteria:
    Prior relevant work or industry experience.

    Education level to the extent education is relevant to the position.

    Academic Discipline (faculty pay ranges reflects 9-month annual salary)

    Unique applicable skills.
