    SpyCloud is searching for a

    Senior Director, Financial Planning & Analysis , reporting to the CFO.

    This is a high visibility role providing financial expertise and strategic support that continually engages with the Company executive leadership, board of directors and investors.

    The successful candidate will be able to draw insights, trends and other intelligence from business, financial and operational data to support data-driven, informed decision-making and drive positive outcomes.

    What You'll Do

    Develop best practices around the annual budgeting cycle and long-term financial planning that align with business goals and desired financial outcomes.

    Execute a robust forecasting process that delivers accurate and timely financial updates.
    Understand SaaS metrics deeply to calculate and report trends, influencing business leaders on tactical plans that positively impact performance.
    Build detailed Excel-based models and metric calculations.

    Provide high-level performance reports ("dashboards") to leadership, including financial scorecards, KPIs, results, and business commentaries with a tight correlation to identified business stats and trends – comparing actual results with the plan, forecast, and prior periods.

    Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports and executive presentations for external stakeholders, including bankers and the board of directors.
    Track and monitor market and competitive landscapes, particularly focusing on market-comparable financial metrics.
    Perform what-if analysis, analyze the financial impact of business changes and new opportunities, including strategic M&A plans.

    Drive continual process improvements and enhance existing financial models to ensure accuracy and consistency with the latest policies and guidelines.

    Requirements
    BS/BA degree in a related field (Accounting, Finance, etc.); MBA preferred.
    10+ years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis in a corporate or consulting setting.
    Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.
    Solid understanding of financial concepts, general ledger accounting, and SaaS business metrics.
    Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and timeliness in deliverables.
    Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including well-developed interpersonal abilities to provide recommendations on challenges, methods, and solutions clearly in both positive and negative situations.

    Superior analytic and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and forward-thinking approach.
    Ability to work independently with minimal oversight but also as part of a team.
    Experience with NetSuite and preferred.
    Nice to Have
    Prior focus in tech space, including SaaS, cybersecurity, and/or software
    Experience with data warehouse or other financial planning systems
