As the Graphic Designer

you will support the North American Marketing Department in all areas of the business.

As a member of the In-House Design Team, the Graphic Designer will support the Graphic Design Marketing Manager by executing creative requests servicing all departments of the business.

Projects can include, interactive and printed literature, technical documents, event displays, product packaging, and more. Strengths in video editing, animation, and/or technical illustrations capabilities, including 3-D renderings, are preferred, but not required.


What You'll Do:


  • The
    Graphic Designer is responsible for various marketing deliverables, primarily focused on printed and digital sales tools to support product commercialization for both trade and consumer audiences
  • Support asset management and platform administrative tasks to ensure organizational and structural integrity of our systems and processes.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of business goals and brand strategy
  • Exhibit clear understanding of product knowledge and brand identity
  • Foster continued selfimprovement by staying abreast of relevant design trends and industry advancements
  • Above all, must be a team player who is motivated to deliver exceptional results for the rapidly growing James Hardie organization.

What You'll Bring:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent preferred.
  • 5+ years of Graphic Design experience
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud programs, primarily, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop required
  • Proficiency in MS Office (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint), Social Media
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Operating System/PC
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability and willingness to follow processes and instructions and provide feedback for continuous improvement
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Works cooperatively with crossfunctional teams across various geographic regions
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal solcing, keen attention to detail and innovative thinking.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure with tight turnaround times
  • Willingness and excitement to learn about the beautiful world of fiber cement exterior solutions
