The Opportunity

You will be responsible for providing technical support activities for GMP Manufacturing Operations in a multi product, large scale, automated biopharmaceutical facility. This includes activities related to safety, compliance, quality, targeted innovation, and plant performance and success.

What You'll Do

Provide on-call technical support for a 24/7 manufacturing operation, promptly responding to requests for assistance related to automation, equipment, or process issues

Support Make-Assess
Release activities by troubleshooting and remediating discrepant incidents impacting manufacturing materials, methods, and equipment
:

Assist in the management of execution level process data and specifications throughout their lifecycle
:

Conduct batch monitoring and data analysis to evaluate production outputs, including routine trend reviews and assessment of atypical occurrences
:

-
Contribute to manufacturing continuous improvement initiatives and support New Product Introduction (NPI) processes
:

-
Support risk analysis activities to ensure compliant and robust production at a unit operation level
:

-
Act as a Subject Matter Expert for specific training content related to unit operation execution concepts and principles
:

All employees with jobs that require access to the Warehouse must be able to pass the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Security Threat Assessment (STA).

Who You Are
-
You will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Life Sciences:

degree, indicating a higher level of expertise and specialization.

You will demonstrate a proven knowledge and practical experience with core regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance and adherence to industry standards

You will be able to demonstrate working knowledge of process control, manufacturing execution, and enterprise resource planning systems, enabling effective management and optimization of manufacturing processes

Work Environment/Physical Demands/Safety Considerations

Work in an office and, to a lesser extent a laboratory environment

You may be on your feet for four to five hours a day.**:

Lifting up to 25lbs may be required

You may work in a clean room environment that requires gowning in the form of hospital scrubs, bunny suits, gloves and steel toe boots be worn. No make up or jewelry can be worn when working in the clean room environment.**:

You may work with hazardous materials and chemicals.**
The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Oceanside, CA is $83,000
$154,200. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
