    Central Oregon Animal Hospital in Bend, Oregon, is seeking a Full Time Managing DVM to lead our team

    We are a multi-doctor, small animal GP practice located in beautiful Central Oregon. We are looking for a self-motivated, compassionate candidate capable of providing high-quality medical care in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills with a clear understanding of the importance of client education and customer service are a must. Proficiency in soft tissue surgery and dentistry required.

    We have a well-established practice with dedicated and talented support staff. We offer a four-day work week with rotating Saturdays and no after-hours emergencies.

    About the Managing DVM:

    The Managing DVM (MDVM) is responsible for providing medical leadership for the hospital, managing associate veterinarians and assuring regulatory compliance relating to the practice of veterinary medicine. The MDVM is also responsible for creating an environment of teamwork in which quality medicine is delivered.

    In partnership with the Hospital Manager, the MDVM is responsible for the financial performance of the hospital, preparing operating and capital budgets, and meeting budget expectations. In addition, the Hospital Manager and MDVM are responsible for directing staff and the overall management of the practice, under the direction of NVA Divisional Leadership.

    Job Requirements:

    · Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, or equivalent, from accredited university

    · Licensure in good standing

    · Strong medical and soft tissue surgical skills

    · Exemplary communication skills

    · Self-motivated, team-oriented, compassionate individual

    · Positively represent the hospital to our clients and community
