- Support financial reporting: Prepare & analyze data for consolidated statements & reports
- Maintain accounting accuracy: Prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, & ensure adherence to GAAP & SEC rules
- Manage fixed assets: Maintain records for corporate entities
- Collaborate on disclosures: Assist with drafting MD&A and footnotes
- Identify & improve: Find & address accounting issues and recommend enhancements
- Research & implement: Stay updated on accounting guidance and implement new standards.
- Internal controls: Maintain documentation for SOX compliance
- Audit support: Assist external auditors during reviews
- Special projects: Participate in analyzing, documenting, and implementing accounting improvements
- Additional duties: Willing to take on other assigned tasks
- Accounting Degree & Experience: Bachelor's in Accounting + recent graduates considered. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in accounting/finance preferred.
- CPA Preferred: CPA or actively pursuing CPA licensure.
- Financial Expertise: Strong understanding of US GAAP & SEC regulations.
- Analytical & Technical Skills: Excellent attention to detail & proficiency in accounting software.

In office/remote: Hybrid (3 days in office after onboarding)
Summary
As a Corporate Staff Accountant, you will perform professional accounting duties under management's direction. These duties include examining, analyzing, maintaining, reconciling, and verifying financial records. You may also be assigned additional responsibilities as needed.
This position is located in Scottsdale, AZ and offers a hybrid work arrangement. You will have the opportunity to work from home a couple days per week, based on business needs.
