Mayvin is seeking a
Project Financial Analyst to provide direct financial operations support to the CFO and Program Managers. Hands-on, cradle-to-grave project control and cost accounting responsibilities. Track financial information of government contracts in a well-organized manner. Award-winning corporate culture in a thriving and growing mid-size business.

Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Must have an active Secret clearance or eligible for a Secret.


Responsibilities:


  • Create accurate invoices in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Provide PMs and CFO with pertinent financial data and insights into contract performance, profit and loss, funding status, etc.
  • All aspects of the billing cycle, to include review of timesheets, recording subcontractor invoices, creation of invoice support documentation, review expense reports for proper coding, review of supporting receipts, and assurance of time and expense compliance with the FAR and company policies
  • Responsible for executing assigned projects; preparing, supporting, and coordinating budget and financial management reports.
  • Research and recommend corrective actions and solution(s) to resolve financial problems and issues.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or other Business Degree
  • 2 years of Government Cost Accounting is required; General ledger experience, including assets, liabilities, and equity accounts, and working knowledge of Government Accounting Indirect Rates
  • 2 years Government Cost Accounting ERP/Financial Accounting system experience required (Unanet, Deltek GCS/Costpoint, et al.) (Unanet experience preferred)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables)

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Unanet Accounting System experience (Time and Expense, Contracts Module a plus)
