HZI acts as a project developer, technology supplier, and contractor for engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of turnkey plants and system solutions for thermal and biological waste treatment, gas purification, and Power-to-Gas.

Its solutions are based on efficient, environmentally friendly, and proven technologies that can be flexibly adapted to meet customer requirements.

Our subsidiary, Hitachi Zosen Inova BioMethan GmbH, develops and manufactures modular plant technology for biomethane production and/or CO2 recovery from biogenic gases such as bio, sewage, or landfill gas, as well as flue gases.

The company employs approximately 160 people at its location in Zeven, Lower Saxony, between Hamburg and Bremen.
