- Monitor and enforce established ministry cash-handling policies and procedures
- Communicate cash-related information to department supervisors
- Reconcile daily cashier reports
- Operate and maintain cash-handling equipment
- Support Ark Encounter daily cash operations as needed
- Oversee and perform regular cash collection from multiple locations
- Coordinate daily bank deposits with the Department of Public Safety
- Understand POS operations such as Galaxy
- Lift up to 50 pounds of coins
- And all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
- Excellent computer skills
- Strong analytical and math skills
- Ability to work with machinery and equipment
- Capable of standing for extended periods of time
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Capable of working independently with little supervision
- Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours a week
- Must agree with and be able to sign our Statement of faith
- Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- Regular attendance at a local Bible-believing church
- High school diploma
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Analytical and math proficiency is a plus
- Excel proficiency is a plus

Summary
The Cash Room Specialist is a full-time staff position responsible for daily cash room operations at the Ark Encounter and helps support the general Finance operations of the ministry as needed.
This position will allow one to impact others through a service mindset centered on making an eternal difference. This position should display our Core Values of SERVE (Serve, Equip, Relate, Value, Engage) when interfacing with both internal and external customers to ensure that the message and mission of Answers in Genesis is portrayed in an effective and God-honoring fashion. This position provides opportunities for spiritual, personal, and professional development.
