The
Project Risk Manager will assume a pivotal role in overseeing risk management efforts associated with the development, management, and delivery of Capital and Non-Capital projects across various Port Authority facilities.

The Project Risk Manager will collaborate closely with Authority stakeholders to identify, assess, mitigate, and report project risks, ensuring adherence to established protocols.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead the organization and facilitation of risk assessment workshops to meticulously identify and score project risks. Compile pertinent project risk information from diverse sources and craft detailed risk assessment reports.
  • Drive Risk Mitigation Workshops to pinpoint viable risk mitigation strategies and their associated costs. Present the results of risk analysis and modeling to stakeholders, fostering collaboration in devising effective risk mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare both draft and final Project Risk Management Reports, encompassing executive summaries, project descriptions, risk registers, model results, and indepth discussions of findings. Ensure the delivery of reports in both electronic and hardcopy formats, while also providing electronic copies compatible with Authority's prevailing software tools.
  • Engage proactively with project teams and stakeholders to recommend enhancements to the Authority's risk assessment process, procedures, and reporting mechanisms. Facilitate continual collaborative improvement in project risk management through briefings, training sessions, and lessons learned workshops.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor of Science Degree in an engineering, accounting, economic, or business administration discipline, or possession of a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification coupled with a technical degree.
  • Demonstrated track record of at least five years in conducting project risk assessments, leading risk assessment workshops, and compiling comprehensive risk assessment reports.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills, accompanied by a proven ability to operate effectively both within teams and autonomously.
  • Desirable possession of PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP) certification.

Up to $50.00 per hour
