Guest Room Attendant

Position Summary

As a Team Member of the Housekeeping team, the Guest Room Attendant is a CRCR Ambassador and takes personal ownership to ensure all of their actions are in the best interest of the business.

The Guest Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of Guest rooms and surrounding areas as assigned.


Position Functions
Essential Functions

  • Follow all AAA Four Diamond standards.
  • Vacuum, sweep, dust, wash all room surfaces.
  • Properly change bed linens, sanitize, and clean bathrooms, mirrors, windows, fixtures, and floors.
  • Replenish all amenities and glassware and serving ware.
  • Clean, disinfect, and store equipment at the end of every shift.
  • Monitor and report on the inventory of cleaning supplies.
  • Collect and remove trash and debris.
  • Clean and prepare Guest rooms prior to Guest arrival, during their stay, and upon check out to help ensure Guest satisfaction with the level of cleanliness and Guest service.
  • Maintain prescribed standards of cleanliness for assigned areas using approved cleaning solutions and procedures.
  • Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of businessrelated policies and procedures.
  • Respond and deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.
  • Notify management of necessary repairs.
  • Stock and maintain a neat and orderly housekeeping cart.
  • Assist with laundry management, including washing, drying, ironing, and sorting linen.
  • Report, turn in, and log all lost and found items.
  • Clean upholstered furniture.
  • Effectively communicate with Guests, management, and Team Members.
  • Perform detailed deep cleans as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Skilled in folding towels into Silkie chicken shapes.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Knowledge of cleaning products.
  • Move furniture up to 50 lbs. to clean underneath.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 6+ months of cleaning experience.
