    Job DescriptionKafka Administrator New York City, New York/Hybrid (3 days onsite in a week)Skills:
    • Develop shell scripts to automate routine tasks and system administration activities.
    • Expertise on Linux OS and the commands
    • Maintain and enhance existing shell scripts to improve efficiency and reliability.
    • Deploy and configure Kafka clusters in production and non-production environments.
    • Monitor Kafka clusters and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve Kafka & shell script-related issues, such as performance bottlenecks, data loss, and replication problems.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement Kafka-based solutions for data integration and streaming analytics.
    • Implement security policies and access controls to protect Kafka infrastructure and data.
    • Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline Kafka administration tasks.
    • Stay up to date with Kafka & Shell Scripting best practices, new features, and industry trends.
