Full-Time Onsite Position
FIELD OPERATIONS MANAGER
Our Award Winning Client is seeking a Field Operations Manager to provide leadership and oversight for construction project management and administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects (financial, schedule, safety, quality, manpower, staff development, etc.) of assigned projects.
- Assist in business development efforts for future projects and targeted market segments.
- Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to ensure project success.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients throughout project lifecycles.
- Conduct regular visits to job sites to stay informed about project status and address issues.
- Foster relationships with owners, subcontractors, and A/E firms.
- Attend owner meetings to provide support to project staff.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulations.
- Assist in conflict resolution on projects.
- Support other departments with proposal and preconstruction efforts.
- Maintain manpower schedules and allocate resources on projects.
- Review and negotiate change orders.
- Mentor and develop project staff.
- Participate in project brainstorming and planning meetings.
- Contribute to recruiting and hiring efforts.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum of fifteen (15) years of progressive experience in Project Engineer and Project Manager roles with business development responsibilities.
- Leadership skills with the ability to solve complex problems and motivate others.
- Proficiency in constructability and technical issues, risk analysis and mitigation.
- Familiarity with construction trade software such as HCSS, Primavera, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
- Negotiation skills with clients and subcontractors.
- Ability to understand the work of multiple trades.
- Strong management, communication, and customer service skills.
- Proactive approach to improving construction knowledge and technical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents.

$140, $160,000.00 per year
