Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a Data center environment or similar technical domain.
- Experience with computer hardware and server hardware or troubleshooting/diagnosing.
- Experience with operating systems and networking infrastructures.
- Ability to travel internationally up to 20% of the time as required.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Linux operating systems.
- Experience in project management and leadership.
- Experience in maintenance and monitoring of server systems.
- Ability to collaborate and partner with teams to overcome challenges.

As a Data Center Technician at La Salle, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining hardware (such as servers and their components) and server software (such as Google's Linux cluster). You will also be involved in configuring components such as networks, routers, hubs, bridges, switches, and networking protocols. Additionally, you may lead project teams and develop contingency plans for installations. You will also be responsible for manually moving and installing racks.
