- Understand, oversee, and ensure compliance with PIC's EHS program to PIC's power generation plants both domestically and internationally.
- Assist plants in conducting environmental incident investigations and RCAs for EHS incidents that occur and drive corrective actions to completion
- Develop and provide environmental compliance training when needed for employee on-boarding or new plant contracts
- Provide EHS training when needed for employee on-boarding or new plant contracts
- Review, develop, and keep current EHS procedures in PIC's EHS manual
- Assist in conducting EHS assessments and performing gap analyses for plants that PIC will take over O&M for as well as perform periodic EHS audits
- Work across departmental boundaries in support of EHS compliance activities
- Prepare periodic reports as required
- Support PIC business development activities as needed
- Regular travel to support PIC's plants
- Provide oversight and direction to the plant for the day-to-day compliance with permits and regulations including Title V permits, NPDES permits, SPCC Plans, SARA Tier II reporting, waste compliance
- Track and ensure applicable routine environmental compliance obligations are met by the plants
- Support projects with active ISO 14001 certifications
- Assist plant teams with general environmental compliance questions and the preparation of routine environmental compliance reporting
- Provide quality assurance of data reported to various government agencies and corporate entities
- Conduct periodic environmental audits of the plants to ensure compliance with all applicable environmental regulations
- Assist in preparing environmental compliance training presentations based on facility permits and applicable regulations
- Travel to and support PIC plants during regulatory environmental compliance inspections
- Assist plant teams with general health and safety questions utilizing knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 and 1926 Coordinate periodic health & safety audits of the plants to ensure compliance with OSHA and PIC's EHS manual
- Conduct hazard assessments to identify and evaluate hazards and control measures
- Maintains safety files and records for PIC Corporate including internal reports, incident documentation, OSHA logs, etc.
- Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to write technical reports, correspondence, and procedures
- Self-starter, driven, accountable, team player
- Ability to multitask is essential
- Ability to travel roughly 30% of the time including some international travel
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus
- Must have a valid passport
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- General knowledge of environmental compliance and various permits
- Knowledge of OSHA general industry regulations
- Knowledge of continuous emission monitoring system (CEMS) requirements
- BS degree in Environmental Engineering or equivalent 3+ years' experience in a heavy industrial environment supporting environmental compliance, preferably in power generation
- Experience managing environmental compliance requirements for Title V permits, NPDES permits, industrial stormwater, SPCC, and SARA Tier II
- Environmental or Safety certifications (REM, CESCO, PE, CSP, OHST)

Job Summary:
PIC Group has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Global EH&S Manager who will oversee and ensure compliance of PIC's power generation plants.
The Global EH&S Manager will report directly to the Global EH&S Director and will assist plants in conducting EHS investigations and help implement corrective actions to completion.
