Description

The instructor will conduct and manage appropriate preparation activities prior to the start of each course, such as discussion of participant needs and course design with the Government Course Manager, compilation of training materials, and the provision of course instructors as necessary.


Electronically track student learning portal registration, participation, and completion of all online content/activities and provide a written status report to the Government Course Manager as requested
.


Upon receipt of participant information, will send e-learning access instructions and any pre-read assignment instructions to the course participants.

Ensure content hosted online remains current.


Will take daily attendance at the start of each class and during the last hour of class and send attendance report to the Government Course Manager.

Will be responsible for delivering in the Program of Study for the
Horn of Africa region. Course may focus on the entire region or a specific area or country/countries within that area.

The design and delivery of specific topics and/or focus areas will be determined and assigned by the client, in line with current mission/focus areas, crises, or strategic objectives.

  • Indigenous, ethnic, and religious groups
  • Geography and natural resources
  • Transportation and infrastructure
  • Economics and Trade
  • Military history, capability, and intent
  • Terrorism and extremism
  • Regional influence and standing

All instructors must meet the following criteria:

  • A minimum of a Master?s degree in a relevant field of study from an accredited (i.e., regional, national or institutional) academic institution
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience instructing adult learners to include academic settings as well as professional settings
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the field for which they are delivering instruction
  • Must be a US Citizen and be able to speak English clearly.
