- Must have the ability to stand 2 hours daily; walk 1 hour daily; sit 1 hour daily; lift, carry, push, and pull 50 lbs.; stoop, bend, twist, turn, climb, crouch, crawl, kneel, balance, and reach.

Instrument Technician - Tyler, United States - City of Tyler, TX
Description
Perform diagnostic tests, repair and replacement of instrumentation and trouble shoot problems in SCADA system telemetering, automated controls, analog, and digital equipment.
Maintain records of all data, calibration, and repairs.Education and Experience:
Must possess a minimum of an associate degree in instrumentation technology, electrical engineering, or related field, with significant instrumentation background.
A combination of college work and/or field experience in instrumentation repair may be acceptable. These requirements are necessary due to the technical nature of this position. Must have at least three (3) years of experience in instrumentation repair work.Must possess or be able to obtain a Class "C" Water Operator's Certification issued by the TCEQ within two (2) years .
Must possess a valid Texas Class "C" Driver's License with a clear driving record.
