Lead Line Runner (3rd shift, 11pm-7:30am)

    Basic ability to read, write and speak English is required to comply with verbal directions, signs, policies and procedures.
  • The Lead Line Runner is responsible for assisting the supervisor daily and for ensuring the efficiency of the operation of the designated line. They are responsible for ensuring all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) are in effect, assuring the quality and quantity of product produced.
  • PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Leads and coordinates the line team in daily activities.
  • Ensures that the line is properly setup and runs productively.
  • Runs the various line equipment to target.
  • Achieves goals in safety, quality, cost, delivery, performance, and morale.
  • Completes appropriate paperwork including batch records, logbooks, production reports, and visual boards.
  • Manages the department in the absence of the supervisor.
  • Ensures the team maintains a clean and orderly work area.
  • Ensures all Line Runners follow SOPs, cGMPs, safety requirements and procedures.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
  • REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) required.
  • Some college preferred.
  • Physical ability to lift, stand, climb, bend.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Work environment may be exposed to powders, chemicals, and allergens (peanuts, tree nuts, milk, dairy, eggs, wheat, gluten, soy, fish, and shellfish).
  • EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the packaging or manufacturing field required.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
  • SKILLS:

  • Basic ability to read, write and speak English is required to comply with verbal directions, signs, policies and procedures.
  • High level of organizational skills.
  • Must be able to multitask and followup when responses are needed.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Basic technical and mechanical ability to understand the equipment.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Basic reading and writing skills to complete the required documentation.
  • The approximate hourly pay for this position is $23.46$28.33*. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
