ManTech is looking for an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to be part of our Air Force / Space team at Nellis AFB. The main role of the ISSO is to support the United States Air Force's 53rd Wing Technical Support Services (53rd WTSS) contract.

Responsibilities:

Assist the ISSM in fulfilling their duties
Prepare, review, and update authorization packages
Ensure procedures are in place for clearing, sanitizing, and destroying hardware and media
Notify ISSM of changes that may impact authorization determination
Conduct regular reviews of information systems for compliance with security requirements
Coordinate system changes with the ISSM and AO/DAO
Monitor system recovery processes to ensure security features are restored
Keep security-related documentation up to date and accessible
Collect, review, and document audit records
Attend technical and security training as needed
Execute cyber security self-inspections and review system assessment plans
Identify and address cyber security vulnerabilities
Prepare status reports on security safeguards for computer systems
Support in-house and external customers with ISSO duties
Conduct security impact analysis activities

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of information security experience
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience
Active DoD M IAT-II certification
Experience with DoD/USAF information security policies and RMF processes
Experience with RMF evidence composition and control families
Strong communication skills

Security Clearance Requirements:

Current Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility
Eligible for access to Special Access Program Information
Willingness to undergo a Counterintelligence polygraph

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stay stationary 50% of the time
Occasional movement within the office
Regular operation of office machinery and computer
