- Participates in the creation and editing of written training materials such as handouts, tip sheets, training guides.
- Assists content developers with creation, editing, and content uploads for learning videos and interactive web-based modules as needed.
- Updates training curriculum based on system/business needs and communicates changes to all affected parties.
- Uses proper business writing skills to effectively communicate concepts in a clear, concise manner.
- Adheres to appropriate adult learning principles.
- Performs quality review of new or updated training materials.
- Establishes and maintains regular communications with education team.
- Participates in preparing the training systems for classes as needed.
- Performs testing and maintenance of the training systems.
- Adheres to UHS Service Level and Change Management Policies.
- Updates/Maintains classes on Learning Management System.
- Demonstrates analytical problem solving to address Customer Service tickets pertaining to training as assigned.
- Tracks registration/attendance and grades classes in HealthStream LMS.
- Works with facility staff to ensure classroom is ready for training, training materials present, equipment available and functioning, etc.
- Conducts classroom, virtual, group, or one on one training as dependent on specific learning requirements.
- Maintains Service Excellence principles.
- Prepares and submits status reports to supervisor as required.
- Properly documents updates to training materials and file appropriately.
- Keeps management well informed of activities, needs, problems.
- Monitors and updates service requests in the UHS and Cerner ticket tracking systems.
- Attends classes to assist experienced trainer as needed.
- Accepts teaching opportunities, when presented.
- Collaborates with project managers on special training projects.
- Provides support to UHS entities as needed.
- Performs other tasks as required by manager.

The Corporate IS Department is seeking a dynamic and talented AssociateApplication Analyst - IS Systems Training & Education.
The AssociateApplication Analyst - IS Systems Training & Education provides learning and development services to UHS Corporate, Acute Care, and Behavioral Health facilities to increase the effectiveness of clinical and technical staff and support the delivery of quality healthcare services to our patients. Works with the IS trainers and subject matter experts (SMEs) to create engaging educational materials to ensure proper use of the IS clinical and business applications. Assists with new training initiatives and provides ongoing support for existing applications. Works in a collaborative environment with facility staff, providers, SMEs, technical experts, and business leaders to deliver training that is accurate and complete. Training includes but is not limited to classroom and virtual delivery. Assists in configuring and testing the Cerner train domains to provide a lifelike environment and an optimal learning experience.

Knowledge: This position requires Associate's or Bachelor's degree; preferably in Business, Liberal Arts, or Education. No training experience is required although some work experience would enhance the skills and abilities necessary to perform this job. Some knowledge of hospital environments preferred.
