JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESReceptionist duties including answering phones, greeting customers, making deliveries to banks, realtors, contractors, the post office, etc. (Mileage reimbursed)
Receive and accurately enter new orders into our computer system. This will include contacting realtors, lenders, and other necessary clients to obtain necessary or missing information.
Communicate with Buyers, Sellers, and Lenders and other necessary parties to ensure efficient and smooth completion of real estate transactions.
Assist in obtaining any documentation needed to prepare for closings, including special assessment letters, payoff authorizations, mortgage payoffs, etc.
As time allows, assist our escrow officer with any post-closing responsibilities such processing loan packages and the recording of documents.
Accurate data entry and typing skills are essential.
Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of customers. This includes listening attentively to others and asking the appropriate questions.
Possess a strong working knowledge Microsoft Word and Excel, and Adobe.
Must be well-organized, self-motivated, and able to prioritize work assignments in a fast-paced environment to ensure that all necessary deadlines are met with an appropriate attention to detail.
Previous experience in a fast-paced, deadline driven office setting.
Real estate or lending background is a plus.
