    Assistant Product Manager, Small Kitchen Appliances


    Are you ready to step into the dynamic world of small kitchen appliances? We're on the hunt for an Assistant Product Manager to join our team and dive headfirst into the exciting realm of culinary innovation.

    Picture yourself at the helm of the Cuisinart brand, overseeing a lineup of kitchen essentials like toasters, ovens, waffle makers, and beyond
    In this role, you'll be at the forefront of driving growth and igniting revenue streams.

    Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you'll play a pivotal role in crafting and delivering next-level products that redefine excellence in the market.

    Responsibilities:
    Contribute to building new product concepts and plans through design, validation, planning, development and launch strategies
    Assist in bringing products to market utilizing market research, product research, product testing, pricing analysis, competitive analysis and timeline management
    Regularly liaise with Engineering, Test Kitchen, Planning, Manufacturing, Operations, Creative and Sales
    Handle time-sensitive responsibilities and communications in a timely and professional manner
    Set up new product information in SAP, Salsify, and other systems
    Initiate, manage, and track the creative process to develop packaging and instructional materials
    Responsible for existing product line maintenance
    Partner with Consumer Insights team to compile and document research & competitive analysis for existing products and categories
    Monitor existing product sales, inventory and forecasting
    Collaborate with Asia remotely focusing on product maintenance and new product development
    Help with general department assignments and trade-show preparation
    Act as marketing liaison for sales on customer accounts as needed
    Contribute to the success of company by leading or assisting with other projects and tasks as assigned

    Qualifications:
    Bachelors degree in marketing or Product Development with 1year of relevant experience
    Product Management and New Product Development experience preferably in Small Kitchen Appliances
    The ability to bring new and fresh thinking to help Cuisinart drive new product growth
    Must possess strong analytical skills, be highly detailed-oriented and provide unprompted follow-through
    Must be accountable and organized with the ability to handle and prioritize a multitude of projects
    Strong oral and written communication and excellent computer skills
    Must be flexible, determined, a team player and possess a positive attitude
    Expert ability level in Word, Excel and PowerPoint; SAP a plus
    Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
    Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
    Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time
    Must be able to travel domestically and internationally for business (10% if needed)

    We currently operate on a hybrid schedule; candidate must be willing to come into the Stamford office 50% of time.
