Simpson Judge are working with a highly reputable, National Law Firm with a number of offices in New York, New Jersey and Florida.

The firm are looking to expand their leading Personal Injury team, and are seeking an experienced Trial Attorney to join their office in Manhattan.

Due to increased work demands, the firm are on the lookout for a Trial Attorney with at least 10 years' experience within Personal Injury to join and add to their firm successes.

Within the role you will be expected to manage a mixed complexity caseload of varied plaintiff personal injury matters, from inception through to trial.

The role will be very challenging, yet highly rewarding, enabling you the opportunity to work on high-value and high-quality matters as a leading Trial Attorney.

Responsibilities:

Manage a highvolume caseload of mixed complexity plaintiff personal injury claims including construction, labour law, medical malpractice, premises liability and more
Manage and prioritise a busy schedule with the ability to meet key deadlines
Review and draft important legal documents such as pleadings, discovery demands, motions etc.
Conduct depositions, mediations and settlement negotiations
Conduct trials as first chair

Qualifications:

J.D. obtained from and ABA accredited School of Law
Admitted to practice in New York, and ideally New Jersey
10+ yrs experience as a First Chair Trial Attorney within Plaintiff Personal Injury
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisation and time management
Detail orientated and strong analytical skills
Successful experience conducting Bench and Jury Trials
