SCHOOL SOCIAL WORKER CONTRACTOR (temporary)

We are I'RAISE, a small non-profit organization in New York City.

We focus on mental health advocacy/services + program, and academic enrichment program at underserved NYC schools We are looking for
one temporary Social Worker Contractor for May 1st to June 29th, who can commute to one school in the Bronx and one in Manhattan.

Must have already completed the Department of Education (DOE) Background / Fingerprint Clearance within the past three years and have eligible status.

Contractor Pay:

$35 per hour from May 1st to June 29th, Mondays to Thursdays 8 am to 2 pm ET, at a

Bronx School:
PS 78: 1400 Needham Ave, Bronx, NY 10469

$50 per hour for the workshop sessions from May 3rd to June 3rd, Fridays at

Manhattan School:
The River School: 425 E 35th St, New York, NY 10016

Contractor Payment Process:
Net 30

Social Worker Contractor Job Functions:

At the Manhattan school (the river school), provide Bullying Prevention Workshops and Professional Development Workshops on Fridays, between 9 am to 2 pm ET

At the Bronx School (PS 78), provide counseling and mental health services to assigned youth through evidence-based interventions and culturally sensitive approaches, on Mondays to Fridays 8 am to

The contractor must provide reports for their workshops and sessions, session and case notes, attendance of the students/participants, and providing documentation/reports to I'RAISE at the end of each month

Job Requirements / Qualifications:

Must have Master's degree in either Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Human Service or related field
Must have 3+ years of school social work experience, or school psychologist experience, or relevant experiences
Must have 3+ years of experience working with Pre-K to 12th grade students
LMSW and relevant license highly preferred
