for implementing
and managing safety programs at the Dynacraft Louisville plant and working with the safety leaders from other location on development and execution of safety
strategy.
The ideal candidate is proactive, has experience in a manufacturing environment, and effectively collaborates with all stakeholders to develop and promote a culture of safety.

Job Functions / Responsibilities
Manage a comprehensive safety program including prevention, inspection, investigation, and recording of incidents. Detect hazardous conditions, track and measure results and recommend, as well as, implement appropriate actions.
Provide leadership, training, and analysis to managers, and employees in the identification of potential hazards and accident prevention.
Oversee the location's worker's compensation program, including investigations, reporting, and collection of information for claims management.
Develop and implement preventive or corrective measures relating to processes, machinery layout, plant ergonomics, and/or personal protective equipment.
Participate in Risk Assessment and long-term safety projects, in collaboration with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, and other stakeholders.
Proactively streamline safety processes and automate as appropriate.
Oversee the safety committee, ensuring effectiveness.
Administer, create, and facilitate safety training.
Develop, maintain and communicate the plant's emergency programs; ensuring proper training and certification.
Maintain knowledge of, and ensure compliance with, applicable federal, state, and local laws. Coordinate with OSHA inspectors, fire department inspections, and PACCAR insurance carriers.
Coordinate with vendors providing safety-related services.
Assist in basic first aid treatment and other duties as needed.
Benchmark safety programs with other PACCAR locations as well as suppliers and PACCAR peer companies.
Special projects as assigned.

Dynacraft is a diversified global manufacturer of PACCAR medium- and heavy-duty truck parts sold under Kenworth, Peterbilt, and DAF nameplates.
For fifty years Dynacraft has provided the company's truck divisions and PACCAR Parts division with high quality components, subassemblies, and specialized services.
Dynacraft has production facilities in Algona, WA, Louisville, KY, and McKinney, TX.Qualifications
Five (5) years of closely related industrial safety and health experience
Demonstrative multi-tasking and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as a team
Must be able to manage quickly changing priorities while meeting deadlines.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Occupational Health, or related field required.
Master's Degree in applicable field preferred.
Professional certification in safety, industrial hygiene or hazardous materials preferred.
