Do you want to help shape the digital (energy) future in the Allgäu region?

Then join our Scrum-based team "virtual startup" as an intern or working student and help us build IoT and energy solutions for the Allgäu region.

  • Start: Winter semester 2021/22 or summer semester 2022
  • Location: Kempten
  • Hours: up to 20 hours per week
  • Duration: at least 6 months
  • Possibility of being hired as a working student

Tasks

  • Establishment of a LoRaWAN network in the Allgäu region (computer-simulated location finding)
  • Commissioning and management of gateways (firmware upgrades, remote configuration, device management)
  • Selection, commissioning, and parameterization of sensors (decoder programming, retrofitting, prototype development)
  • Analysis of sensor data and creation of visualizations (creation of queries for relational and time-series databases)
  • Creation of interfaces for third-party systems
  • Participation in product development
