    Description
    New fulltime position open for a talented Manufacturing Process Engineer in the Columbia, SC area

    This is an onsite position.


    The person hired for this role will tasked with providing manufacturing and industrial engineering process expertise to improve manufacturing process development.

    Leading and supporting Lean activities and 8D's / A3's will be a critical component to this role.


    Qualifications:
    Completed Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
    3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, working as an Engineer
    Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of implementing successful process improvements.
    Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple projects simultaneously.


    Other responsibilities include:
    Evaluating existing manufacturing processes and identifying areas for improvement
    Supporting equipment design upgrades to improve equipment utilization and optimization
    Supporting standard work, ISO documentation, and procedural creation
    Determining problem resolutions and implementing improvements
    Developing detailed layouts for equipment, processes, and workflow
    Researching and developing new processes, equipment, products, and cost-saving measures
    Ensuring manufacturing processes, equipment, and products comply with safety standards and legal regulations
    Maintain research and activity documentation and prepare reports
