Peraton is seeking a
Systems Analyst to join our team of qualified, and diverse individuals.

Must be Local to County of San Diego (CoSD)


Day to Day Work Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with Business Unit Application Manager, Service Delivery Manager, Application Technical Leaders, and Team Members to track, inform, and follow up on outstanding concerns or tasks for assigned business group departments.
  • Perform daily administration of PPMC containers, including creation, task assignments, ongoing review of budget and schedule, and coordination of scopebudgetschedule changes with appropriate approvals.
  • Oversee assigned Departments' Service Now activities, including Level of Efforts, Task Efforts, Incidents, Changes, Problems, Root Cause Analysis, and Access Requests, escalating issues to the next support tier as needed.
  • Conduct regular meetings with ITO and County departmental teams to assess new business needs, review queue items, document issues and risks, assign action items to responsible resources, and provide followup until completion.
  • Conduct quarterly onsite visits to assigned County departments with Business Unit Application Managers, Application Technical Leaders, and General IT Managers for facetoface review and evaluation of previous quarter's concerns, budgets, schedules, and lesson learned documentation and action plans.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelors Degree and 2 years of experience or a Masters Degree and 0 years of experience or a High School Diploma and 6 years of experience.
  • Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.


Proficiency in Project Management principles and a solid grasp of Project Management methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, Kanban, and Scrum.


  • Comprehensive understanding of System Design, Software Development Process, Software Documentation, and Software Testing.
  • Familiarity with County business operations, including the functions within specific departments, divisions, or other areas of focus.
  • General knowledge of automated solutions, the systems development life cycle, current technologies, and industry trends.
  • Strong analytical abilities and adept problemsolving skills.
  • Capable of conducting risk analysis and devising effective risk mitigation strategies.
  • Skilled in establishing and maintaining collaborative working relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders through written and verbal channels.
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Proficient in developing various work products including Statement of Work, Requirements, use cases, user stories, process flows, Knowledge Base Articles, Configuration & Installation instructions, and help guides.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Proficiency in Service Now the County ticket/request management tool and capable of building reports, dashboards, and visual boards within the tool.


  • Proficiency in DocVault

  • County of San Diego's document repository.
  • Proficiency in Teams Foundation Service (Azure Devops) a code repository in support of the CoSD Account.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Product suite including Visio and Project
  • Able to produce PowerBI reports and dashboards.
  • Knowledge of scripting and scripting tools such as (PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, PHP, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Low-Code platforms such as (Outsystems, SalesForce, PowerPlatform, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Cloud platforms & System platforms such as (AWS, Azure, etc.)
    Target Salary Range
$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
