    Job Title: Construction Estimator

    Location: Houston, TX

    Position Type: Full-time

As they continue to expand their operations, they are seeking a talented Construction Estimator to join the dynamic team in Houston.

    Position Overview: We are looking for a Construction Estimator with up to 4 years of estimating experience to contribute to the growing portfolio of commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating for both ground-up construction and renovation projects. Experience in commercial construction within the Houston area is highly desirable, and any field experience will be considered advantageous.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates for commercial construction projects.
    • Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine material, labor, and equipment requirements.
    • Collaborate with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather necessary information for estimating purposes.
    • Utilize industry-standard software and tools to develop detailed cost estimates and proposals.
    • Conduct thorough cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project budgets and schedules.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, material costs, and industry best practices.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
    • Up to 4 years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in commercial projects.
    • Proficiency in construction estimating software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Planswift).
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Familiarity with commercial construction practices and regulations in the Houston area is a plus.
