    Logistics Coordinator

    Position

    The Logistics Coordinator will manage all aspects of shipping materials to and from Exotech. Responsibilities include coordinating with sales/suppliers, obtaining freight quotes, analyzing quotes, arranging shipments, document handling, overseeing pickup and delivery, tracking shipments, and using internal software.

    Compensation, Benefits, Schedule, and Location

    • Compensation: Salary range of $22 to $25 per hour plus a Generous Bonus
    • Benefits: Comprehensive package including paid time off, medical insurance, life insurance, and more
    • Schedule: Typical hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with flexibility
    • Location: Based in Pompano Beach, FL

    Responsibilities

    • Request and retrieve quotes from carriers
    • Communicate with freight forwarders for international shipments
    • Ensure compliance and documentation for imports/exports
    • Track incoming and outgoing shipments
    • Manage import shipment deliveries
    • Update internal software and handle shipping/receiving tasks
    • Operate forklift for loading/unloading
    • Handle small orders, supplies, and shipping supplies
    • Assist with inventory tasks
    • Perform other assigned duties

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 3 years of logistics experience
    • Proficiency in shipping Incoterms
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Fluency in English and Spanish
    • Knowledge of Truck, Ocean, and Air freight
    • Basic computer skills
    • Problem-solving abilities and forklift experience
    • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

    Physical Requirements

    The role may require standing and sitting for extended periods, fine motor skills, and lifting up to 25 lbs. Reasonable accommodations can be provided.

    Language Skills

    Proficiency in English and Spanish for effective communication and understanding of job-related instructions.
