Challenges for Participants at Paradise:
  • At Mewa, we rent industrial textiles (workwear, cleaning cloths, oil absorbent mats, etc.), pick them up for cleaning after use, and return them spotlessly clean.
  • Chemical and physical cleaning processes, as well as environmentally friendly treatment of used water, play a central role in our operations.
  • And this is where you come in: As a future specialist in wastewater technology, you and your colleagues (m/f/d) ensure that our water treatment plant is fully operational at all times and meets our high quality standards.
  • You will learn about all processes of water treatment. You will monitor the technical processes in the plant, carry out mechanical cleaning, maintenance and repairs, and check the water quality through biological measurements. You will quickly and reliably resolve any malfunctions in measuring instruments, pumps, and valves.
  • In addition, you will coordinate the disposal dates for sewage sludge and waste.
  • But your experience and knowledge will not only expand in practice: You will also attend in-house training and, of course, vocational school in block lessons in Lauingen.
  • The apprenticeship also includes a placement at the sewage treatment plant and training in the use of SAP maintenance software.
