POSITION TITLE:
Facilities Coordinator
The Coordinator will supervise facilities staff, oversee contractors, provide vendor management and will ensure excellence in facility management; including janitorial, general maintenance, support for identified capital projects.
Able to follow maintenance schedule to meet seasonal needs and provide proactive facilities maintenance The Coordinator of Facilities partners with EMPath program and management staff to ensure the facilities and grounds are maintained in a manner that supports the business model and promotes safety.

Associate Vice President of Facilities and Food Services
ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE JOB:
- Provides hands on work to maintain and repair facility as well as providing supervision and training of staff.
- Monitors and evaluates standard operating procedures for facility operations, including safety and security systems.
- Able to organize day to day needs as well as plan projects or large repairs.
- Provides technical and organizational leadership in overseeing identified facility projects which include vendor selection, project management and quality control.
- Provides day to day guidance and ongoing routine audits of the janitorial service contractor to ensure quality service and make appropriate recommendations.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Direct supervision experience in a maintenance or similar environment
- Strong carpentry, painting skills, understanding of commercial heating and cooling systems, electrical, plumbing and fire alarms.
- Must be willing to accept a on call schedule for some weekends or nights
- Schedule will vary depending on weather and snow events
- Basic understanding of computers and strong organizational, writing and verbal skills.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: 5-7 years of facilities experience in commercial real estate setting
PHYSICAL DEMANDSIWORKING CONDITIONS:
Requires standing, bending, stooping, lifting and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a power tools and manual tools. Requires normal range of hearing and eye sight to record, prepare and communicate appropriate reports. Work is performed in and outside oi buildings and in inclement weather.
Performs a variety of physical labor including climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, reaching, and standing for long periods of time; lift and carry boxes, tools, equipment, and materials.
