The AWO Regional Association Central-West Thuringia e.V. is looking for teachers for the Freie Ganztagsschule LEONARDO Jena starting immediately.

Who are we?

At our "Freien Ganztagsschule LEONARDO - Gemeinschaftsschule", approximately 230 students learn in small class sizes of about learners. Effective learning is made possible through a consciously designed daily routine that allows time for individual counseling (learning how to learn) and help with learning difficulties. This enables successful learning at an individual pace. LEONARDO is a full-day school from 08:00 - 15:45, meaning there are minimal homework assignments. Instead, students can learn and practice under the guidance of subject teachers. Thuringian curricula serve as the basis for achieving state-recognized qualifications.

These are your core responsibilities:

  • Teaching mathematics in grades 5 to 12
  • Teaching computer science in grades 5 to 12

What you bring:

  • At least a 1st state examination for teaching - secondary school or gymnasium
  • Willingness to innovate, diversity of ideas, and
