    We are seeking a skilled and motivated mechanical assembly leader to join our dynamic team. As the mechanical assembly lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the assembly process, ensuring the highest quality standards are met, and leading a team of assembly technicians.

    Location: Blaine, MN

    Wage: Starting at $18/hr.

    Hours: 8 am – 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday

    Duties of themechanical assembly lead:

    • Accountable for all aspects of the production area. This includes training, production, employee issues, shipping and receiving, inventory, workflow, etc.
    • Work with the production employees and discuss/document employee issues, work quality, training, etc. Work with the supervisor to provide a corrective action plan and/or schedule.
    • Monitor stations, fixtures, and tooling. Enforce the Red/Green tag program.
    • Train employees in conjunction with manufacturing engineering
    • Red/Green tag program - direct daily cleanup of each workstation and inspect visually (5S)
    • Resolve quality and manufacturing issues with the production manager, QA, and Manufacturing engineering.

    Requirements of the mechanical assembly lead:

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • 1-2 years of mechanical assembly experience
    • Basic reading skills.
    • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
    • High attention to detail and self-motivation skills
    • At least one year of experience as a line supervisor, in a mechanical assembly environment
    • Fluent in Spanish and English.
