Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team.

As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.

Duties:

Greet customers as they enter the store and assist them with their shopping needs
Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately and efficiently
Maintain a balanced cash drawer at all times
Provide product information and assist customers in making purchasing decisions
Perform product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits
Upsell additional products or services to enhance the customer's shopping experience
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
Assist with inventory management by restocking shelves and monitoring product availability

Skills:

Cash handling experience is preferred
Basic math skills to calculate totals, discounts, and change accurately
Knowledge of technology products and ability to sell electronics is a plus
Bilingual skills (if applicable) to assist customers who speak different languages
Experience in jewelry sales is an advantage
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
Ability to learn technical specifications of products for effective sales pitches
Strong upselling skills to maximize sales opportunities
