- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
- Measure, cut, and shape materials, such as wood, plastic, and drywall
- Construct frameworks, including walls, floors, and ceilings
- Install doors, windows, and hardware
- Install and repair various fixtures and finishes, such as cabinets, countertops, and trim
- Perform general construction tasks, such as leveling, scaffolding, and cleanup
- Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, contractors, and project managers
- Complete projects within designated timelines and budgets
- Proven experience as a Carpenter in commercial construction
- Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program or equivalent training
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction drawings
- Strong knowledge of building materials and construction methods
- Ability to operate and maintain a variety of carpentry tools and equipment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in measurement and installation
- Good physical stamina and manual dexterity
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
