- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Measure, cut, and shape materials, such as wood, plastic, and drywall.
- Construct frameworks, including walls, floors, and ceilings.
- Install doors, windows, and hardware.
- Install and repair various fixtures and finishes, such as cabinets, countertops, and trim.
- Perform general construction tasks, such as leveling, scaffolding, and cleanup.
- Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, contractors, and project managers.
- Complete projects within designated timelines and budgets.
- Proven experience as a Carpenter in commercial construction.
- Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program or equivalent training.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction drawings.
- Strong knowledge of building materials and construction methods.
- Ability to operate and maintain a variety of carpentry tools and equipment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in measurement and installation.
- Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
