HEFFLER CONTRACTING GROUP IS AN ESTABLISHED FEDERAL GENERAL CONTRACTOR SEEKING PROJECT QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER(S) WITH PROVEN EXPERIENCE IN DOD AND MILITARY FACILITY PROJECTS IN BOTH VERTICAL GROUND UP BUILDING AND CIVIL CONSTRUCTION.


OUR PROJECT IS AT MOFFETT FIELD, CA. LARGE FULL FACILITY RENOVATION OF AN EXISTING BUILDING. THIS IS WITH NASA.

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY YOU
MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 4 YEARS OF
PROVEN SUCCESFUL FEDERAL CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE AS AN ONSITE CERTIFIED QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

:

• MUST HAVE STRONG KNOWLEDGE WORKING WITH QCS/RMS SYSTEM
• MUST BE ORGANIZED, PROACTIVE AND HAVE PROVEN EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH USACE and or NAVFAC.
• Must be capable of reading, interpreting and fully understanding plans, specifications, reference codes and standards.
• Review and interpret contract drawings.
• Review provisions that have been made to provide required control inspection and testing.
• Be capable of preparing QUALITY CONTROL PLAN for each project assigned.
• Initial setup and daily management of QCS/RMS 3.0 functions.
• Efficient management of project submittals.
• Effectively assure all materials and or equipment have been submitted and approved.
• Control all communications and project documentation to preclude any delays or deficiencies.
• Communicate with Contracting office in a positive and solutionsoriented manner.
• Lead required meetings with all parties in a professional, organized, and wellinformed manner.
• Be on top of all daily work activities, ensure all testing is done accordingly and documented correctly.
• Be consistent with all required inspections, have a proactive rather than reactive approach to all aspects of quality control.
• Have a partnering attitude in resolving all situations, respond promptly to customer needs, and always place the client's interest at the forefront of all conflicts.

Qualifications

:

Active
US Army Corps of Engineers Construction Quality Management for Contractors certificate. ALL CERTS MUST BE CURRENT.

:

Proven 6 years' experience as a QC manager within construction.

:

• Must have USACE and NAVFAC proven experience.
• Must be Proficient with Microsoft Office and other basic computer skills.
• Must have experience using QCS-RMS 3.0 REQUIRED.
• Skillful communicator in both verbal and in written communication.
• Excellent writing skills with proper grammar.
• A great listener who can communicate professionally with an open and positive approach.
• Must pass preemployment drug test/physical/background check.
• Must be experience in: _
  Large Building Construction (Vertical)_and knowledgeable in site construction (Horizontal).
• Must be tenacious, persistent, and structured when it comes to Documentation, organization and following up with clients (RFI's, Submittals, Approvals).
• Must be tenacious, persistent, and structured when it comes to Documentation, organization and following up with Subcontractors and vendors (RFI's, Submittals, Shop Drawings, Approvals).
