Description
Bachelor's degree in business, management, real estate, or other related field.

5 + years of corporate or commercial asset management experience with a retailer, landlord, or commercial real estate company.

Ability to interpret lease language and familiarity with retail, industrial and office leases.

Experience negotiating real estate actions, including negotiating lease renewals, restructures, amendments, and expansions.

Experience utilizing commercial real estate lease software such as Tango.

Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Limited travel required (20% or less) within the assigned portfolio for property inspections, problem solving real estate challenges, and building professional relationships with our landlord partners.

Travel to one of our offices will be required up to twice annually for company events and department all-hands meetings.

7+ years of asset management experience with a retailer, landlord, or commercial real estate company.

Broad experience with interpretation of retail, industrial and office leases.

Ability to read and interpret site plan exhibits and building plans.

Ability to prepare and interpret financial analyses.

Familiarity and understanding of base building systems.

Work independently while maintaining all deadlines and critical date obligations.

Proven track record to analyze and interpret complex leases and educate stakeholders of lease compliance responsibilities.

Identify new or improve existing business processes.


Effective and clear communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interface with individuals at all levels of an organization.

Demonstrable experience that reflects building trust among customers, colleagues, and service partners.
