We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to join our team.

As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and sterility of medical equipment and instruments.

Your expertise in sterile processing and aseptic technique will contribute to the safety and well-being of our patients.


Responsibilities:


  • Clean, disinfect, and sterilize medical instruments and equipment according to established protocols
  • Inspect instruments for damage or defects and report any issues to the appropriate personnel
  • Assemble instrument trays and surgical sets with attention to accuracy and completeness
  • Monitor sterilization equipment to ensure proper functioning and perform routine maintenance as needed
  • Maintain inventory of sterile supplies and order replacements as necessary
  • Adhere to infection control policies and procedures to prevent the spread of pathogens
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments for surgical procedures
  • Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician (CRCST) required.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy
  • Familiarity with sterile processing techniques and aseptic practices
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining quality standards

Pay:
$57, $65,125.00 per year
