HBTS (Home-based Therapeutic Services) Direct Support Professional - West Warwick

Starting pay $27.

The Position:

With a
_competitive starting pay_, and a cohesive "family-like" work environment, an HBTS Direct Support Professional at Ocean State Behavioral will
_use their skills to work under a primary therapist_ for in-home clients.

You will help
_to implement a service plan alongside a client's family and/or guardian(s)_ that has been crafted by a professional therapist overseeing the case.

This is a
_part-time position_ where you will be responsible for adhering to professional and legal requirements and demonstrating sound judgement while providing at least the minimum standard of care according to program standards and principles of "good practice.

Requirements:

Be at least 19 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
_AND _one year of supervised experience working with children,
_or_:
Be at least 19 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
_AND_ at least 3 years' experience working with adults with developmental disabilities as a home-based worker,
_or_:
Must have an Associate's degree in Human Services (i.e.

, psychology, counseling, child development, or other related field),
_and_:

Must provide a current BCI check from RI Attorney General's Office and allow the agency to run a DCYF CANTS clearance check.

Job Duties:

Implementing a treatment plan that is developed by the child's family and the agency.
Providing guidance and redirection for the individual with special needs.
Writing organized and indepth daily contact notes and keeping data collection on service plan goals.
Providing feedback to the agency on service plan goals.

This position is part-time and looking
for 12 hours a week**.
