- Assess and approve credit orders, communicating effectively with customers and service representatives.

- Evaluate payment histories and recommend adjustments to credit limits based on various factors, including payment history, sales activity, customer comments, and collection attempts.
- Collaborate across departments to resolve account discrepancies and develop other accounts receivable for staff.
- Process vendor forms promptly and responds to customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Supervise daily cash deposits and credit card payments, ensuring accuracy and resolving disputes.
- Monitor customer orders related to credit issues and take appropriate actions.
- Support month-end closing activities as needed.
- Proficient in managing credit card disputes and resolving them effectively.
- Accurately process various types of deposits to Accounts Receivable (ACH, Wire, Credit Card, and checks) with meticulous attention to detail.
- Efficiently handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical staff and external stakeholders to achieve organizational goals.

Role Highlights
The Assistant Credit Manager oversees a portfolio of accounts, focusing on efficient collections and credit operations. They reach out to delinquent customers via various channels to prompt settlement, conduct follow-ups for timely payments, and review credit orders for release within guidelines. Additionally, they assist in analyzing credit risks, developing policies, and optimizing cash flow.

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Finance/ Accounting or a minimum of 5+ years of equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.
Computer Skills
Demonstrated high proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
May be required to have a valid driver's license and meet Vantage Driver Approval requirements.
